Seven months after we last stopped by, the exteriors of two multifamily residential developments from CGI Strategies are starting to be revealed in Koreatown.
Located on back-to-back properties at 837 S. Fedora Street and 840 S. Mariposa Avenue, the two seven-story buildings will contain a combined total of 182 studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments above basement parking for 173 vehicles at completion. Of that total, roughly 10 percent of the apartments are to be reserved as deed-restricted affordable housing in exchange for density bonus incentives.
KFA Architecture designed the two buildings, which are depicted in renderings with exteriors of brick, metal panels, and plaster. Plans also call for amenities including fitness rooms, courtyards, and rooftop decks.
Both apartments buildings are on pace to open in mid-2022.
Woodland Hills-based CGI Strategies has previously developed two other apartment buildings in Koreatown, and is also planning a hotel and residential complex next to the Wilshire/La Brea subway station.
