North of Downtown Los Angeles, the wood framework of a long-delayed multifamily residential complex is now taking shape.

A series of four-story podium-type buildings, located at 1015-1035 W. Figueroa Terrace, will consist of 45 apartments in addition to a partially underground parking garage.

The project, which his highly visible due to its hilltop location, has moved along a sluggish construction scheduled, with foundation work initially commencing in 2014.
