Canfield Development, a Los Angeles-based real estate firm, has unveiled the final design of its new mixed-use complex near Downtown Los Angeles.
The Seven West Apartments, now nearing completion at the intersection of 7th and Valencia Streets in Westlake, consists of a seven-story structure that will feature 87 residential units above ground-floor retail space and a parking garage.
The podium-type building, designed by Nadel Architects, will offer a mixture of studio, one- and two-bedroom dwellings, with in-unit features such as hard-wood style flooring, washer-dryer sets and key access cards. Other communal amenities will include a courtyard deck, an outdoor fire pit and a resident lounge.
Lincoln Property Company has been selected to manage the complex, which is expected to open in the first quarter of 2017.
Canfield, established in 1990, has several projects in the pipeline throughout Los Angeles, including an Art Deco apartment building on the Miracle Mile and student housing near USC.
