Nearly one year after breaking ground in Historic Filipinotown, a new multifamily residential development from is now fully-framed at the intersection of Beverly Boulevard and Reno Street.
The project from Unique Construction & Development, located at 3001 W. Beverly Boulevard, consists of a six-story edifice that will feature 46 studio, one-, and two-bedroom dwellings over a 36-car podium garage at completion.
Tighe Architecture is designing the project, which is portrayed in a renderings as a contemporary low-rise building clad in concrete and corrugated metal panels. A courtyard amenity space is planned at the podium level.
At the time the project began work in Summer 2021, completion was expected in 18-to-24 months.
The project is one of a handful of similar developments now under construction in the Historic Filipinotown and Westlake, including a 221-unit apartment complex now rising from the empty lot at 235 N. Hoover Street, an empty lot that was once home to Temple Community Hospital.
