Last year, environmental documents provided a first glimpse of Hollywood's proposed Tommie Hotel.  The website of visualization studio Kilograph has now revealed new angles of the proposed eight-story development south of the Walk of Fame.

The project, slated for a parking lot at 6516-6526 W. Selma Avenue, would create 212 guest rooms, in addition to ground-floor retail commercial space and an underground parking garage.  Plans also call for amenity decks on the bulding's podium and roof levels.

Steinberg Architects is designing the mid-rise development, which is portrayed as a contemporary building with grid-pattern windows and a rooftop pool deck and a paseo separating it from the adjacent Mama Shelter Hotel.

The mixed-use building is being developed by Five Chairs, the U.S.-based subsidiary of Hollywood International Regional Center.  HIRC is planning multiple hotels between Hollywood and Downtown Los Angeles, including the nearby Thompson Hotel on Wilcox Avenue.
