A collection of small residential buildings in North Hollywood will make way for a low-rise apartment complex, per an agenda item from next month's meeting of the CRA/LA Successor Governing Board.
According to a project description filed with the agency, AFCO Development Company intends to construct a four-story building at 11042-11050 W. Hartsook Street, featuring 48 residential units above a parking garage. The project would include a mixture of studio, one- and two-bedroom dwellings, three of which would be set aside for very low income households.
Renderings portray a contemporary design, with exterior balconies and a central courtyard.
The .60-acre development site is located south of Metro's North Hollywood Station, and one block east of an upcoming mixed-use complex that will feature a 365 by Whole Foods Market.
