This week's Throwback Thursday - provided by Los Angeles-based architectural photographer Hunter Kerhart - showcases what should be a familiar subject for any regular visitor to Urbanize LA.
The Wilshire Grand, soaring 1,100 feet above the intersection of Wilshire Boulevard and Figueroa Street, officially claimed the title of "Tallest Building in the West" last year when a steel spire was erected atop the tower's roof.
Scheduled to open this summer, the skyline-altering project includes approximately 400,000 square feet of office space, nearly 70,000 square feet of shops and restaurants, and a 900-key Intercontinental Hotel. Perhaps its most notable feature will be its rooftop pool and observation deck.
