The owner of a small warehouse in Long Beach intends to reinvent the nondescript building as a live/work development.
According to an agenda item from this week's hearing of the Long Beach Zoning Administrator, the subject property is a four-story edifice that fronts the south side of East New York Street between Martin Luther King Jr. and Lewis Avenues. The adaptive reuse project would create 19 artist's studios with accessory dwelling spaces.
Promotional signage on the building describes it as "The Vault."
Additiona details about the proposed development are unclear.
