A couple blocks west of Centinela Avenue in Mar Vista, wood framing has reached its peak for a new development of small lot homes.
The project, which replaced smaller rental buildings at 12610 Venice Boulevard, consists of 12 single-family residences, each totaling roughly 2,000 square feet in size.
"Each of these individual four-story homes is comprised of 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, with an attached 2-car garage on the main level," reads a description from Holtz Architecture, which is designing the project. "For additional outdoor space, there are terraces off the master suite and each home has a private rooftop deck."
City records list the developer of the homes as an official with Orion Capital, a local real estate investment firm best known for a string of new multifamily residential buildings near USC.
The Mar Vista site sits a one block west from a mixed-use, 77-unit apartment complex recently built by LaTerra Development.
