WREN, a new residential community in Downtown Los Angeles, has announced that it is 20 percent leased prior to its grand opening tomorrow.
The $144-million development, located on Pico Boulevard between Olive and Hill Streets, consists of two seven-story buildings featuring 362 apartments atop ground-floor restaurant space. The units range from 487 to 1,750 square feet, and come in a mixture of studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans. The project also offers 22 two-level townhomes fronting Olive and Hill.
Residents will have access to a wide array of amenities, including a swimming, a fitness center, a yoga studio, two roof decks and dry cleaning service. Parking for 427 vehicles is also provided within an underground garage.
WREN's first restaurant tenant, First Draft Taproom & Kitchen, is scheduled to open in Fall 2017.
The project - a joint development between Mack Urban, AECOM Capital and Capri Capital Partners - is celebrating its grand opening with a $150,000 donation to the nearby Metro Charter Elementary School.
WREN is the first phase of a multi-building development lead back Mack Urban. The second component of the project - a 38-story tower at 12th Street and Grand Avenue - is now under construction.
