The Bend, a live/work campus along the L.A. River, is officially opening for leasing this month.

Located at 2980 Allesandro Street in Frogtown, the mixed-use project is highlighted by a newly constructed three-story building which feature 40 loft-style apartments ranging from 600 to 1,360 square feet in size.  Features within each unit include high ceilings, outdoor space, polished concrete floors, LED lighting and in-unit washer-dryer sets.

The building itself - designed by Santa Monica-based KFA - features underground parking, a landscaped courtyard and an observation deck overlooking the river.

Developer Terra River, LLC has converted two existing riverfront structures into commercial space, one of which will be occupied by a restaurant known as Lingua Francua.  The new concept by the owners of Frogtown's Wax Paper is scheduled to open in Fall 2017.
