In Downtown Santa Ana, MVE + Partners has announced the completion of Rafferty, a $66-million mixed-use development near the OC Streetcar.
The project - a joint venture between Toll Brothers and EJF Capital, LLC - is located on a site at 401 N. Main Street. Its two buildings feature a combined 218 rental apartments, 12,350 square feet of ground-floor commercial space, and parking for 328 vehicles.
A leasing website advertises a mix of studio, one, and two-bedroom floor plans with rents starting at more than $2,600 per month.
MVE + Partners is designing the project, which is located at the intersection of 4th and Main Streets. Its five- and seven-story buildings include references to nearby historic structures, such as a former Montgomery Ward building, as well as amenities such as a courtyard swimming pool, a fitness center, and a rooftop deck.
Rafferty is one of several developments in the works along the path of the OC Streetcar, a roughly four-mile at-grade rail line which is now set to open in 2025. National CORE has also developed Legacy Square, an income-restricted development with commercial space, near a future streetcar stop.
