Construction is underway for Bridewell, a new set of small lot homes at the corner of Bridwell and Pollard Streets in Highland Park.

The project, which comes from Williams Homes, will consist of nine for-sale residences with floor plans between 1,865 and 2,456 square feet.  They replace two older houses, built in 1905 and 1948.

City records indicate that Santa Ana-based William Hezmalhalch Architects is designing the project.

Williams Homes is also behind plans for a similar project on Echo Street.
