Developer CGI Strategies is nearing completion on the Kodo, a new multifamily residential complex in Koreatown.
The six-story edifice, located one block south of Wilshire Boulevard at 2867 Sunset Place, will feature 60 rental units above a two-level underground parking structure. Plans also call for a rooftop deck and a fitness center.
Michael Ball Architects designed the podium-type building, which features an exterior of smooth plaster.
Per an official leasing site, the project includes studio, one- and two-bedroom floor plans between 550 and 845 square feet. Rents will range between $2,500 and $4,200 per month.
Completion is expected before the end of 2017.
The property is located immediately south of the three-acre 2900 Wilshire site, where a 23-story mixed-use tower is planned by developers Hankey Capital and Jamison Services, Inc.
