Four-year-old plans to bring housing to an empty lot north of Pacific Coast Highway in Signal Hill are finally moving forward, with the release of a new environmental study for the project.
The Courtyard at Signal Hill, slated for a property at 1933-1939 Temple Avenue, calls for the construction of eight detached single-family homes. All would include four bedrooms, four bathrooms, and a two-car garage, with floor plans ranging from 2,122 to 2,144 square feet in size.
Renderings of the project depict a series of two-story, Mediterranean-style houses arranged around a common driveway.
Pending approvals, developer Signal Ventures, LLC would build the project over a roughly 14-to-16-month period.
Plans to build housing at the site date to at least 2020, while the development site was cleared of buildings in 2016.
