A social media post from Ottinger Architects reveals renderings for yet another Builder's Remedy project in Beverly Hills.
The proposed project from Fisch Properties, which first emerged earlier this year, would rise from a property located at 9441 W. Olympic Boulevard. Plans call for demolishing an existing commercial building at the northeast corner of Olympic and Beverly Drive, clearing the way for the construction of a 13-story, approximately 190,000-square-foot building featuring 75 residential units atop 4,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space.
As is required for Builder's Remedy projects, either 20 percent of the total units must be reserved for low-income households or the entire project must be restricted to rent by moderate-income households. In the case of 9441 Beverly, plans call for 15 units of affordable housing.
Ottinger Architects' design for the building portrays a contemporary mid-rise structure clad in glass and capped by a rooftop deck.
"With expansive balconies wrapping around a glass façade, we have integrated the site's curves into an architectural expression that will bring a residential feel to this bustling intersection," reads the social media post.
Fisch Properties, the applicant, also has plans for another Builder's Remedy project directly across Olympic Boulevard. Likewise, Ottinger ARchitects has multiple Builder's Remedy projects in the works in Beverly Hills.
