With completion nearing for its Kodo apartments near Wilshire Boulevard, developer CGI Strategies is cooking up plans for another multifamily residential complex in Koreatown.
The latest project, slated for a nearly half-acre site at 839-851 S. Fedora Street, is imagined as a seven-story building featuring 75 condominiums, a 75-car garage, and amenities such as a fitness center and rooftop decks. The project would make use of density bonus incentives in exchange for setting aside seven units for very low-income households.
Three existing apartment buildings, totaling 10 residential units, would be demolished for the project.
Renderings portray a contemporary mid-rise structure, clad with gray brick, light gray metal, and white plaster.
CGI's website indicates that the company is planning a similar seven-story development for an adjoining property at 826-840 S. Mariposa Avenue, featuring over 100 additional units.
