Over the past week, developer CGI Strategies has filed plans with the City of Los Angeles to construct a pair seven-story residential buildings in Koreatown. Killefer Flammang Architects has now revealed renderings for the proposed developments.
The first project, slated for a half-acre property at 839-851 S. Fedora Street, will feature 75 residential units, in addition to a 75-car underground garage and amenities such as a fitness center and roof decks.
The second development, proposed for an adjacent site at 826-840 S. Mariposa Avenue, would feature 98 units dwelling units, with a similar blend of ancillary features.
Plans call for the demolition of several existing apartment buildings, totaling 16 units. They would be replaced with 19 units of subsidized affordable housing, provided in exchange for density bonus incentives.
The lower floors of both buildings would feature a brick facade, with metal panels and plaster above. Upper levels would be set back from the street frontage to provide communal open space.
