With nearly two years of construction already behind them, California Landmark Group is putting the finishing touches on 3838, a $25-million apartment complex near Downtown Culver City.

Located at 3838 Dunn Drive in Palms, the seven-story building will feature 79 market rate apartments and seven units of affordable housing when completed next year.  Other features within the building will include a fitness center, ac ommunity room and a rooftop deck.

Rios Clementi Hale Studios and PK Architecture designed the project, which features a grey stucco exterior accented with bands of white and yellow.  A green wall will wrap the ground level, masking at-grade parking from view.

Though surrounding by parking when initially proposed, 3838 finds itself opening with neighbors.  The Harlow Culver City apartments are already open next door, and a smaller multifamily project is now under construction across the street.
