PATH Ventures, a nonprofit organization providing housing and supportive services to homeless and low-income individuals, intends to redevelop its Hollywood facility as part of an affordable housing complex.
The project, filed yesterday with the City of Los Angeles, calls for the construction of a 100 percent affordable development consisting featuring 59 units of very low-income housing and one market rate units.
The proposed development is moving forward under the City's new Transit Oriented Communities program, using incentives to reduce open space and side yard requirements.
PATH is currently in the midst of construction on similar affordable housing projects in Rampart Village and Inglewood.
A market rate apartment complex is planned for a 1.7-acre site wrapping round the PATH property.
