Just south of SoFi Stadium in Inglewood's Hollywood Park complex, vertical construction is now complete for the Kali Hotel and Rooftop, KPC Development Company announced on September 10 with a topping out ceremony.

The $300-million project, the only permitted hotel within the Hollywood Park Specific Plan, will consist of a 12-story building featuring 300 guest rooms on its upper floors, as well as 34 suites designed for sports and entertainment figures visiting nearby venues. The hotel is to be part of Marriott's Autograph Collection.

“Kali Hotel represents KPC’s inaugural luxury project in Los Angeles, with more developments planned for the market,” said KPC Development Company chairman and founder Dr. Kali P. Chaudhuri in a news release. “We broke ground less than 11 months ago on this project driven by vision and passion. Today’s ceremony demonstrates substantial progress on what is the only hospitality destination of its kind in Greater Los Angeles. The hotel has already received great interest ahead of premier sporting events in 2027 and beyond.”

Crescent Hotels & Resorts will serve as property manager for the Kali Hotel, joining a team that includes architecture firm Lamar Johnson Collaborative, Sixteenfifty Creative Intelligence, and builder Clayco.

The hotel is on track to open by September 2026, which will allow it to serve visitors to the 2027 Super Bowl and the 2028 Summer Olympics (but not the 2026 World Cup).

The Kali Hotel is being built on property ground leased from Kroenke Holdings, which owns both the Los Angeles Rams and the Hollywood Park complex. The master planned development is billed as the largest project of its type on the west coast, and will include an additional 890,000 square feet of retail space and 2,500 homes when completed, in addition to existing improvements such as SoFi Stadium and the Hollywood Park Casino.

Other hotels in development near Hollywood Park include a Fairfield Inn now underway on Century Boulevard and the 15-story Arya Hotel planned next to Intuit Dome.
