Project entitlements included density bonus incentives to permit a larger structure than would have been otherwise allowed by zoning rules. In exchange, 11 apartments are to be set aside for rent as very low-income affordable housing.

A leasing website for the non-affordable units advertises furnished residences available for durations of 31 days or more, as well as traditional apartments with monthly rents ranging from $5,499 to $7,453 per month.

Abramson Architects, which recently merged with Perkins&Will, designed the contemporary podium-type building, which features a white plaster exterior and a rooftop amenity deck.

Other recent projects from California Landmark Group include a townhome complex pitched for Ventura Boulevard in Woodland Hills and a mixed-use apartment building across the street from Sony Pictures Studios in Palms.
