A large, empty plot of land in San Dimas is set to be redeveloped with housing, per a new environmental notice.

The Bonita Avenue Townhomes, which would rise from a nearly nine-acre property at 444 E. Bonita Avenue, calls for the construction of 164 condominiums. Of that total, 17 are to be set aside for moderate-income households.

City records list the project applicant as an entity affiliated with MW Investment Group.

The project site is located a short distance to the east of the A Line's San Dimas Station, which opened to the public in September along with the rest of the Foothill extension to Pomona.

MW Investment Group is attached to a similar townhome project in the City of Whittier.
