In West Adams,  CIM Group has completed work on a mixed-use apartment complex on the former site of West Angeles Church.

Coro, located at 3017-3045 Crenshaw Boulevard, consists of a six-story building featuring 168 studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments above approximately 40,000 square feet of ground-floor space and a parking garage.

A leasing website advertises monthly rents ranging from $1,950 to $3,175 per month.

The project was entitled using Transit Oriented Communities guidelines to allow for the construction of a larger building than allowed by zoning rules.  In exchange, 17 of the new studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments are required to be rented as affordable housing at the extremely low-income level.

AC Martin designed the contemporary podium-type building, which includes a central courtyard, a swimming pool, a fitness center, and two rooftop decks.

CIM Group acquired the project site in 2023 from West Angeles Church. The company has acquired multiple properties from the church over the course of 20 years, which have since been redeveloped or converted into new businesses.

The project is also part of a wave of developments from CIM in the West Adams area, including more than a dozen and commercial buildings along Adams Boulevard.
