The Los Angeles City Planning Commission has given its blessing to a proposed production campus just off of Crenshaw Boulevard in Baldwin Hills.
Stocker Street Creative, which is being developed by 4SBay Partners, LLC, is named for its proposed location at 3701 W. Stocker Street. Plans call for the construction of six new buildings containing 256,768 square feet of production, office, and restaurants pace, as well as parking for 344 vehicles and a community room.
JGM is designing the project, which would include structures up to seven stories and 110 feet in height.
An environmental study circulated for the project last year indicated that Stocker Street Creative could be built over a period of 35 months. The report had analyzed a period starting in July 2026 and concluding by May 2029.
The studio complex is one of three large proposed developments on sites near the K in Baldwin Hills. Harridge Development Group has approvals to add more than 900 homes, a hotel, and other commercial uses to the 42-acre Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza mall property to the northeast, while Hudson Pacific Properties is slated to build roughly 300,000 square feet of offices on the former Marlton Square site.
