In Inglewood, construction is in the home stretch for a mixed-use apartment complex Texas-based developer JPI.

The project, which replaced a car wash near the K Line at 939 W. Manchester Boulevard, was originally known as the Jefferson, but has since been rebranded as The Landing. It consists of an eight-story building featuring 222 studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments with 3,500 square feet of retail space and a three-level parking garage.

Advertised monthly rents for the property range from $2,335 to $3,985 per month.

Those prices will not apply to 11 apartments which are to be set aside for rent as affordable housing in exchange for density bonus incentives allowing a larger building than otherwise permitted by Inglewood's zoning rules.

TCA Architects designed The Landing, which includes a pool, a clubroom, a fitness center, and a rooftop deck.

JPI is developing similar multifamily residential developments next to the A Line in Monrovia and Long Beach.
