A small live/work development is making slow-but-steady progress in Frogtown.
The project, located on Eads Street between Blake Avenue and the Los Angeles River, will consist of a four-story edifice featuring eight dwelling units above a street-level coffee shop.
Designed by Kevin Tsai Architecture, the building would gradually step down in height towards the back of its project site, culminating in a backyard patio.
The property sits directly across the river from the 42-acre G2 site, a former rail yard that has been described as the "crown jewel" of the L.A. River restoration.
