Holland Partner Group is getting ready for the finishing touches at its 28-story tower at 9th and Figueroa Streets in Downtown Los Angeles. 

The project, which represents the final buildout of a project originally entitled by Sonny Astani, will offer 341 rental apartments and 11,000 square feet of retail space upon completion. 

Architecture firms Gensler and the Preston Partnership designed the new construction, which mimics many of the features seen at the adjoining apex tower.  That project, part of Astani's original two-tower development, was designed by HansonLA.

Work is now underway for a two-story retail building, which will be wrapped in LED signage and capped with a rooftop deck.

Completion of the tower is anticipated in late 2018.
