Just east of the Glendale Transportation Center, construction continues for The Link, a new mixed-use development at the intersection of San Fernando Road and Central Avenue.
The five-story building, which is being developed by Glendale-based Kareco, will consist of a five-story building containing 142 apartments and approximately 8,700 square feet of ground-floor retail uses. Plans call for 12 apartments to be set aside as low-income housing.
TCA Architects designed The Link, which is being built with wood-frame construction above a concrete base.
Completion of the project is on pace to occur in 2019.
