Local developer Wylan James has broken ground on four townhomes in Culver City.
The project, located at 4118 Wade Street near Washington Boulevard, will each offer three-bedroom, three-bathroom floor plans averaging 2,200 square feet. Plans also call for two-car garages and 800 square feet of outdoor entertainment space per residences.
Ben Adams Studio is designing the project with double-height rooms and sliding glass walls to allow for natural lighting. The Wade Street townhomes are the firm's first U.S. project.
According to a representative of Wylan James, the project and similar developments are intended to encourage Culver City to a small lot ordinance similar to that which is already in effect in Los Angeles.
Completion of the Wade Street development is anticipated in January 2019.
