In Del Rey, a new mixed-use apartment building is now under construction at the site of a former nursery near the L.A. - Culver City border.

The new development, located at 11608-11612 Culver Boulevard, will consist of a five-story building feature 47 apartments above 1,700 square feet of ground-floor retail space and 62 parking spaces in a semi-subterranean garage.

Renderings portray a contemporary design with a U-shaped structure above a podium base.  Outdoor space will be provided in a central courtyard and a rooftop deck.

The developer of the project is listed as a West Los Angeles-based 11612 Culver, LLC. Additional details regarding the development are unclear.

In July, plans were filed with the City of Los Angeles to construct a similar mixed-use building near the intersection of Culver and Inglewood Boulevard.  That project would replace a duplex, a single-family home, and a small commercial building.
