A new development of townhomes broke ground in May just south of Sunset Bronson Studios in Hollywood.
The new development, called the Slot Townhomes, is rising on a single parcel at 1243 N. Gower Street. Plans call for five four-story structures, each of which will feature two- and three-bedroom floor plans with 1,600 square feet of living space.
Westlake-based AUX Architecture is designing the project, which will be clad with white cement board siding that shifts to white stucco at its upper levels. Each townhome will feature a rooftop deck.
Completion of the Slot Townhomes is expected in May 2019.
A quarter-mile north at Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles-based real estate investment trust Hudson Pacific Properties is in the midst of construction for a 13-story office building called Epic.
