City Ventures has opened the first phase of Bridgewater, a new development of townhomes in Gardena. 

Located at 16958 S. Western Avenue, the mix of three-story buildings offer floor plans between 1,520 and 1,870 square feet with up to four bedrooms and three-and-a-half bathrooms.  Sales prices begin in the high $500,000s.

The homes are described as "all-solar, all-electric" and incorporate high-efficiency LED lighting and appliances.

City Ventures, which is based out of Irvine, builds townhome communities throughout California.  Among the company's recent developments is a 40-unit project in Downtown Long Beach.
