In Pasadena, a surface parking lot at Del Mar Boulevard and Los Robles Avenue has bit the dust, and a new housing development is rising in its place.

The nearly 35,000-square-foot lot, designated as 399 E. Del Mar Boulevard, is being developed with a four-story structure that will feature 55 luxury condominiums.

The low-rise building is being developed by entities known as Fortune Time USA and Giantech Development.  Requests to project representatives for more information did not receive a response.

The 399 Del Mar development is located just south of a 1980s office building at the corner of Los Robles and Cordova Street that is being converted into 105 condos.  An adjacent parking structure is also slated for redevelopment with a multifamily residential complex.
