A 14-year-old plan to build condos in North Hills just took a key step forward, with the publication of the project's proposed mitigated negative declaration.

Canoga Park-based Land Developers & Associates is pursuing the construction of 36 detached condominiums on a triangular property at 14801 Plummer Street, replacing a pair of single-family dwellings.  The proposed development would also include 72 covered resident parking spaces and 18 guest parking spaces.

Entitlements for the roughly 2.7-acre site were first initiated with the City of Los Angeles in 2004, and later extended in 2013.

Additional details about the project are unclear based on its environmental study.

The development site abuts an L-shaped property at 14701 Plummer Street that is slated for the development of 28 small lot houses.
