Providence Health Services and City of Hope have completed construction of an $80-million medical facility in Torrance.
The Providence Breeze Advanced Care Center, located on a property at Torrance and Palos Verdes Boulevards that formerly housed the Daily Breeze Newspaper, is a three-story, 106,000-square-foot building that will house:
- a Women’s Center;
- an Imaging Center;
- an Ambulatory Surgery Center;
- Clinics;
- Medical and Surgical Oncology;
- an Infusion Center; and
- Two Linear Accelerators.
Cuningham Group served as the project's executive architect and designer of the tenant improvements, while CallisonRTKL designed the exterior core shell of the building.
Providence Health Services recently broke ground on a $542-million modernization of one of its area hospitals in Tarzana.
