The wood frame of a mixed-use development from Trammell Crow Residential is nearly complete in Historic Filipinotown. 

The project, now called Alexan Bahay, is located at 1910 W. Temple Street.  At completion, the six-story building will offer 200 studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments above 22,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space.

A rendering by architecture firm SCALA portrays a contemporary design for the podium-type building.

Completion is on pace to occur in 2019.
