After breaking ground on construction last year, the Neptune Marina redevelopment has topped out and the facade is starting to take shape.

Greystar Real Estate Partners is heading the $300-million project, located at Via Marina and Marquesas Way. The original Neptune Marina apartments were razed to make way for four four-story buildings, which will bring a total of 526 new apartments to Marina del Rey. 

TCA Architects designed the waterfront development, which implements a Mid-Century modern design inspired by elements from the previous 1960s Neptune Marina. 

Neighboring the Neptune is the nearly-complete AMLI MDR development and a proposed Marriott Hotel.
