This week, the Palms Neighborhood Council's Land Use Committee is scheduled to review a proposed multifamily residential development just west of Sepulveda Boulevard.
The project, which comes from applicant Pirooz Amona, would replace a duplex at 3718 Bentley Avenue with a six-story apartment building featuring 17 one-, two-, and three-bedroom units above parking for 21 vehicles. This includes two units of affordable housing at the extremely low-income level, which would be provided in exchange for incentives through the Transit Oriented Communities guidelines.
California Development and Design, Inc. is designing the podium-type building, which would feature wood-frame construction above a concrete base and subterranean garage level. Renderings portray a white and orange structure capped by a roof deck and a common balcony on the sixth floor.
Additional details regarding the project are currently unclear.
