After breaking ground three years ago, Fairfield Residential and Legendary Development have wrapped up construction on The Aliso, located at 950 East Third Street in the Arts District.
The $215-million mixed-use complex consists of five low-rise buildings featuring 472 live/work residential units above 22,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space. A mix of studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments are accompanied by amenities, including a central courtyard with a pool, a social lounge, and a rooftop deck.
Kava Massih Architects designed the six-acre project, which incorporates various shapes and industrial-inspired facade materials throughout the five structures. The interior spaces were designed by House of Honey and the landscape architecture was designed by San Diego-based Gillespie Moody Patterson, Inc.
Leasing has already begun for select floor plans, with the remaining units and amenities coming online by mid-2019.
