On a two-acre lot just south of Sunset Boulevard, the concrete and wood frame of the Rise Hollywood continues to climb upwards.
Cal-Coast Development and Rescore have partnered to develop the $110-million project, located at 1311 N. Cahuenga Boulevard.
The seven-story building will feature 369 residential units above 2,570 square feet of ground-floor commercial space and a subterranean parking garage. The apartments will include 12 live/work units, 30 micro units, and 20 units set aside for moderate-income households - which is defined by the California Department of Housing and Community Development as 80 to 120 percent of the area median income.
Nadel Architects is designing the modern mid-rise project, which will feature 40,900 square feet of open space which includes: a public plaza, a ground-floor paseo, and an outdoor deck with a pool and spa.
Completion of the Rise Hollywood is anticipated in late 2019.
Just north of the project, the Godfrey Hotel is wrapping up construction, while immediately to the east, the $450-million Academy on Vine development is working towards an early 2020 delivery.
