Advanced Nutrients, a Canadian company that makes hydroponic plant fertilizers, has signed a new lease at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, according to an announcement from PDC's owner Charles S. Cohen.  The lease is for a 13,500-square-foot space on the third floor of PDC's Green Building over a period of 10 years.  

“We are delighted to welcome this forward-thinking company to PDC,” said Marc Horowitz, Senior Vice President and National Director of Leasing of Cohen Brothers Realty Corporation,  who represented PDC in the successful lease negotiations.

Advanced Nutrients was represented by Marc Bretter of Cresa.

Two companies have opted for new or larger spaces in Santa Monica, reports The Real Deal. 

Tala, a mobile technology firm, will relocate from a 12,400-square-foot space at 429 Santa Monica Boulevard to a 30,600-square-foot space at a Kilroy Realty property at 1633 26th Street.  It will occupy the top two floors of a three-story building that was previously home to MTV.  Tala's existing office will be subleased to a flexible office provider Knotel.

Additionally, the Goodwin law firm has signed a lease for more than 20,000 square feet of space at 520 Broadway.

The L.A. Business Journal reports that two co-working firms have inked new leases in Beverly Hills and Downtown Los Angeles. 

WeWork will open its first location in Beverly Hills - a 70,000-square-foot space at the Creative Artists Building at 9830 Wilshire Boulevard.

Additionally, Carr Workplaces has signed a 24,000-square-foot lease at The Bloc in the Financial District - its first location in Los Angeles.
