AMCAL Multi Housing Company will open a luxury apartment complex at the former site of the Woodland Hills post office this fall, the company announced.

The Clarendon Woodland Hills, located at 22121 Clarendon Street, stands five stories in height and feature 335 studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments with a 562-car parking garage.

Designed by Architects Orange, the project spans a 4.3-acre site a short distance south of the 101 Freeway.  Plans call for open space amenities, including a fitness center, sports courts, a business center, and a club room.

"We are delighted to bring new luxury apartment homes to Woodland Hills," said Percy Vaz, AMCAL CEO in a statement. "We focused on including all the amenities that modern Angelenos want in their apartment homes and are excited for residents to move in and experience living at Clarendon Woodland Hills."

According to a project website, pre-leasing for The Clarendon is scheduled to begin in July.  Rents have not been announced, though 25 units will be set aside as affordable housing at the very low-income level.
