A long-vacant lot in Hawthorne has birthed a mixed-use project featuring rental townhomes and retail.

The development, located at the southeast corner of Imperial Highway and Inglewood Avenue, consists of 13 two-story townhomes and a standalone commercial building with a surface parking lot.

According to the website of Merit Real Estate, the property offers a mix of three- and four-bedroom dwellings, with floor plans ranging between 1,600 square feet and 2,000 square feet.  Each features appliances and two-car garages.  

Monthly rents start at $3,200 month for the three-bedroom units, and $3,600 per unit for the four-bedroom units.  The property is to be ready for move-ins in October.
