Arizona-based homebuilder Meritage Homes is bringing a new small lot subdivision to Northridge.

The project, called Mosaic, is now under construction at 8350-8430 N. Reseda Boulevard.  Plans call for the construction of 61 single-family dwellings with a mix of three- and four-bedroom floor plans, each featuring three bathrooms and two-car garages.

KTGY Architecture + Planning designed the houses, which will all stand three stories in height.

Sales prices for Mosaic start at $593,000, according to a project website.

The small lot subdivision was entitled as part of a larger mixed-use development which would allow for the construction of apartment buildings with street-fronting retail along Reseda Boulevard.  That component of the project is not under construction.
