Two-and-a-half years after breaking ground in Koreatown, CGI Strategies is wrapping up construction at its Mariposa on 3rd development.
The seven-story building, named for its location at the intersection of 3rd Street and Mariposa Avenue, consists of 121 residential units - including 17 set aside for lower-income renters - atop 4,600 square feet of ground-floor retail space.
A leasing website advertises a mix of one- and two-bedroom dwellings, with rents ranging from $2,285 to $3,800 per month.
Warren Techentin Architecture designed the contemporary podium-type building.
A Fall 2019 completion date is averaged on the project website.
CGI is also behind two proposed apartment buildings in the southern part of Koreatown, as well as a hotel and condo complex planned next to the Wilshire/La Brea subway station.
