In October 2018, the twin-tower Circa development opened across the street from Staples Center and L.A. Live, bringing 648 luxury apartments to South Park. One year later, the 48,000-square-foot of retail space which line's the complex's ground floor is beginning to fill out.
Hankey Investment Company and Jamison Services, the developers and owners of Circa, have announced that steak and seafood restaurant Mastro's Ocean Club will open a 14,000-square-foot restaurant at the ground-floor of the property.
“Mastro’s fine-dining experience integrates perfectly into the CIRCA lifestyle and South Park’s world-class entertainment district to round out our vision for the complex,” said Scott Dobbins, president of Hankey Investment Company in a news release.
The Downtown Mastro's, scheduled to open in 2020, will be the seventh in California and 17th nationwide.
Mastro's joins a new StubHub office located in Circa, as well asa 6,000-square-foot Chase bank branch.
Wearable technology maker Intellisense Systems, Inc. has signed a 49,000-square-foot lease in Torrance for its new headquarters, reports the LA Business Journal. The company, which is scheduled to take up residence at its new building in March 2020, will also maintain its current home at 20600 Gramercy Place.
