SRO Housing Corp. is behind the proposed development, which is slated for a roughly half-acre property at the northeast corner of 95th Street and Normandie Avenue. Plans call for the construction of a three-story, 44-foot-tall building containing 57 apartments and parking for six vehicles.
According to the SRO Housing website, the project would cater to households earning to households earning 30 percent or less than the area median income, and offer amenities such as a community kitchen, a computer room, and on-site supportive services.
