Less than two years removed from completing the Huxton townhomes, City Ventures has announced plans for another development of for-sale homes in Long Beach.
The new development, planned in North Long Beach, calls for the construction of 56 townhomes on vacant lots at 4800 and 5100 Long Beach Boulevard. Each would incorporate solar power infrastructure, garages pre-wired for electric cars, Energy Star appliances, and drought-tolerant landscaping.
Elevation plans depict a series of contemporary three-story structures.
The proposed development would offer new homes with as many as three bedrooms and 1,747 square feet of living space. Sales prices are expected to start in the high $400,000s.
The project, which is slated for review by the Long Beach Planning Commission, has received the support of Long Beach City Councilmember Al Austin, who represents the surrounding 8th District.
“We’re very proud of our efforts to bring critical, obtainable housing to this area of North Long Beach while we simultaneously transform the area into something significantly more desirable as we work alongside our economic and development partners,” states Austin in a news release.
