Eight months after we last stopped by, CIM Group is putting the finishing touches on a new office building at 5600 W. Adams Boulevard.
The three-story steel-frame building, which replaced a parking lot and a single-family home, contains 29,000 square feet of commercial space - split between upper level offices and street-fronting retail uses.
NMDA designed the low-rise building, which will use a setback along its eastern property line to provide space for a tenant amenity deck.
The project is the latest in a series of infill developments from CIM Group along Adams Boulevard, including multiple apartment buildings and a hotel.
The project site is located a short walk west from Fairfax Avenue, where developer Redcar Properties is in the midst of construction on a similar office building wit ground-floor retail.
